Hi! Ok, so I've been reading your aisledash. I swear I will comment once I have something worth saying. But I was wondering if anyone had done a post about when people used to elope to Gretna Green in Scotland to get married over the anvil? It was kind of an elopement tradition in the Edwardian and Victorian eras. Apparently it's still a really popular venue to get married, and I've always wanted to be married over the anvil ever since I heard about it in Pride and Predjudice. Just figured I'd throw the idea out there. :)
