It's finally warmed up a bit in Bermuda, so I'm not going to spend much time on the computer today.  Instead I'm going to head out and see some stuff.  If you want to read a little about what it's like to vacation here, I put a new post up at WOW today.

I'm going to be back in Cville on 2/4, but I'll only be home for 2 weeks before leaving for Portland, then Vegas, then...?  Z's client cancelled for Detroit, so unless we get another client at the last minute, we're not doing that one.  Hopefully wherever we are, I am able to get more work done.  I made, like, five dollars this month.  Okay, a little more, butstill.  Weak.  I need a steady internet connection to be productive, and I haven't had one of those in two months.  Bah.  

But whatever...I'm in paradise; I'll stop bitching.

Hmm. I don't know what your exact situation is, so this is just total brainstorming, but have you tried going to coffee shops and yoinking their Internet? Also, are you staying in a hotel? They sometimes have Internet there (though I think they can charge jackasserific fees for them). There's also public/university libraries.

Anything you've seen posted so far has been from hotel lobbies and/or coffee shops over the last 6 weeks. It's just that I'm most productive between 6 and 10am, before I get out of bed, and it's hard to go to a coffee shop and write without getting out of bed... ;)
