Baby's coming!

jianantonicMy brother called last night around 10 to say Rachel had started serious labor, they were on their way to the hospital, and he'd call in the morning with updates, but plan to be on the way to Brooklyn by 8.
I just got off the phone with my mom, and here's the scoop. They gave Rachel and epidural last night, which totally stopped the labor, so the baby isn't here yet. Instead, they're going to induce her this morning to get things rolling again, and they expect the baby will be here this afternoon or early evening. Good deal. Today is Adrian's 37th birthday, and I dare say a new niece is a pretty good present. I just got him a shirt. But it was a nice shirt.
Anyway since things slowed down, we're not leaving Cville until 11 or so, so I'm going to get some things done around the house before we head up there.
