Dec. 12th, 2003 01:32 pmI think I did pretty well on my NT exam. That means there's actually one class this semester I'm completely done with. Good. I went into work but they weren't busy at all so I asked to leave and come home to work on my paper that's due at 5pm and has to be 8 pages...uf...I still haven't started writing...just more outlining. I took a much needed nap, but I woke up with an awful earache. It's really bugging me, I can't stand it. Anyway, this paper...
Once again, Dr. Fogarty has assigned a really long essay for something that doesn't require a really long answer. Another girl in my class said that her paper would be 6 pages long at best. I haven't started mine, but I'm either going to include way too much background information and get way off task, or I'll just have a really short paper, too. Bah. I don't want to do it. But I have to, and I'll be relieved to be done with it.
Jeremy is in Charlottesville caddying. I'll be joining him this evening. I'm glad that after this paper, everything I do will be on my own schedule. *Whew* Plus I'll have lots of time at the bridge tournament to do the reading I need to do to catch up. Good good.
I think Helen will be back stateside before long. That's happy, too. Maybe in time for Robbie Schaefer.
Oh yes! EFO last night. Wonderful show. For the second part of the set, Mike brought the Hamlet skull out from the backstage props and passed it around the audience. It was a running joke all night. I don't think the Blackfriar's security was all that amused with it, but it was a crowd pleaser, so they need to destickify their rears. I met my guitar professor's girlfriend. She was nice, but quiet. I guess you'd have to be if you're his boyfriend. He's a talker. Anyhow at the show, they unveiled LOTS of new songs. Some I'd heard before, but others were new to me. The new CD is going to be really different...I like it so far. Yay:)
Anyhoo, time for me to scoot. I do need to work...
Peace.
