Apr. 10th, 2008 07:04 pmI got my new Girlyman live CD today:) I didn't realize it was recorded (partially) at the Gravity Lounge. Rock on! Z is still at work, so it's been a quiet evening for me, mostly consisting of beating bad guys in Zelda. The SNES version, that is. I was half a dungeon away from beating the whole game after a couple weeks of progress, but then someone accidentally kicked the SNES and reset the game, erasing all the saved data. To say I was frustrated is a bit of an understatement, but whaddya gonna do? I'm almost done with the light world now, but I got bored with it so I'm taking a break. But now that I'm writing about it, it makes me want to get back to it...
Peace.
Peace.

Date: 2008-04-11 01:38 pm (UTC)The answer won't go live for several weeks, though, so here's my answer: there's no way to ask for money that's NOT tacky. Don't register, and guests will ask people what the couple wants. Make sure those people know the answer is "money." They'll get lots of money anyway, even without asking, but not all guests are comfortable giving cash. The best they can do is spread the word through the wedding party and parents.
