I know that everybody's bitching about this already, but holy crap it's hot out.  Over 100 today in most of VA.  Z says the high in Portland today was 58.  After running a few errands today, I decided a good use of my time would be to go to the neighborhood pool and cool off in the water for a little while.  I swam a few laps, but felt kinda funny being there while other folks were having grill parties or playing with their kids, so I left after about 15 or 20 minutes.  But the water felt great, and tomorrow when everyone's at work or school or summer camp, I'll go back:) 

I'm not super tired, but I am super bored, so I've crawled into bed and I'm sorta halfheartedly trying to doze off.  I think it might be working...

It's chilly here in Seattle. Not that I am craving 95 degree weather... but it would be nice to hit 70 for a change. I'm used to SUMMER happening by now.

I'll be in Philly next week though, so I'll get my sweaty fix then.
