Judging from the title of this post, you might think that while out on a stroll today, I bumped into the Hanson brothers at Subway or something.  Not to let you down or anything, but there have been no spectacular events in my day today.  It's just that, compared to yesterday, I'm even happier than I would be if I bumped into the Hanson brothers at a Subway AND got to make out with them.  If I know something will never happen, I'm allowed to want it a little, right?  :-P

Anyway, it's just been a very nice day.  I woke up next to my sweetie (who kisses better than any Hanson, no doubt) and got to cuddle with him for a while, which I've been missing terribly.  To adjust for the lack of cuddles, I've been pressing myself face-first up against the wall at home, which is an oddly comfortable and comforting way to sleep.  Having made a habit of this, I continued to press myself up against that thing next to me in bed last night, until McKenzie woke me up to tell me I had forced him nearly entirely off the bed.  Oops.

After he left for work, I reacquainted myself with the internet and even got some work done.  When housekeeping came around noon, I vacated the room for them and took a walk around town.  I don't know this area very well at all, but I knew if I walked north, I'd find some shops and places to eat and such, so I headed that direction.  I had my iPod playing and it was just a really enjoyable walk.  The weather is beautiful today -- in the high 70s and clear, just really perfect walking weather.  After about 20 minutes, I found a Subway, so I stopped in there to get lunch, then walked back, noting the Goodwill, Fred Meyer, and Dollar Tree stores on my route for possible future visits.

Since I decided not to check any bags, my entire wardrobe for this trip consists of six different solid color tank tops and two different pairs of pants.  McKenzie didn't bring any bags with him, so when we go back, he'll take a bag or two and we'll have a little more room.  Since I probably won't get a chance to do laundry while we're in Medford (through Sunday, at least, but hopefully next week, too, if Z gets another week of work), I figure I'll stop by Goodwill and pick up some clothes on the cheap.

Bridge tomorrow with one of Z's many beloved Oregon partners, and then I think Z and I play together in the Thursday evening club here.  Friday through Sunday is a sectional in Grants Pass, then we don't know what next week holds in store for us.  Hopefully more FedEx work, but if not, we'll just have to go back to Crater Lake and maybe finally visit Mt. Hood or something.  It's going to be a good time.  I've missed these mountains.

Peace.
