Jun. 24th, 2008 12:21 pmZ: I'm sorry you're not feeling well, sweetie.
M: What makes you think I'm not feeling well?
Z: The smell.
Last night was an evening of heroic flatulence for the both of us, brought on by an overindulgence in soy at lunchtime. It was a fun night.
Z got off work in time to catch a matinee yesterday, so we walked to a theater a few miles away to see Get Smart. I'd never watched the TV show, but figured that with Steve Carrell, they were targeting a generation of my peers who'd also never seen the show, so I didn't figure I'd miss much. If there were inside jokes and references I missed, I didn't notice. McKenzie and I were both laughing out loud throughout the entire film. It was riotously funny.
Z says he's slammed today at work, which means I'll have to wait until 3:30 or 4 to start my ride to Ashland. I'm sort of anxious to go ahead and do that, but I guess before I go, I've got some other stuff I can do around here. And I can ride out to get lunch. I'm pretty nervous about biking on the road, but it seems that most people here bike on the sidewalks. I know that's not legal, but I've seen dozens of people doing it, so I guess it's not something I should worry about. The ride to Ashland is completely on a trail, so that should be no problem. I just want to go ahead and get there... but I need to wait at least six hours.
Peace.
