jianantonicI emailed the Farewell Drifters when we got home from the fest to tell them how much I loved them and how sorry I was to miss their last set on account of hail, and I got a reply today saying that they'd heard about my shirt (I doctored a shirt in tribute to them) from someone else who'd seen me at the fest, and well, nothing explains this better than a direct quote: "I have to say that hearing about your shirt was one of the best musical experiences I have ever had."
And being told that was one of the best email experiences I have ever had.
I can't wait to get my CD!
I got my new phone today. I ended up spending $40 on eBay for a new, awesome phone, instead of spending $100 to refurbish my old, shitty one. The new one is a pretty blue Sanyo Katana, which is like the Razr. It's an ultra thin flip phone, and I love it. Here's hoping I don't break the darn thing.
Hanging out with Lucy all day was fun but draining. I was ready to call it a night at 5:30, but my dignity demands that I force myself to stay awake at least until 7pm. And now that I've made it, I'll probably be down for the count in a matter of minutes.
