Well, the one good thing that's come of my time off from AOL blogging is the chance to catch up on my PT blog. PT posts take on average about five times longer than my AOL posts, and pay less than three times more, so I tend to slack there when I have material for AOL. I should be getting a new AOL contract in the mail sometime this week, so I'll be back up and running on those blogs in a few days, hopefully. In the meantime, I'm plugging away at the Perpetual Tourist, and DoubleSqueeze is progressing nicely as well.
My latest PT post is on an awesome hotel in Chile. I couldn't use all the pictures I wanted to, because the formatting was already ugly enough with the addition of the final picture, but I think you get the idea. This place looks awesome.
Adrian called today to see if I'd go to the gym with him. He didn't get the job he'd applied for at Virginia Tech, which is a huge bummer, but now he's getting pretty serious about grad school. I'm glad to see him getting his act together, and I hope he figures out what he really wants to do before too long. He's a good guy with good brains and he's just been drifting for a long time. I've been there, and I know it's the kind of funk you can't be forced out of, but he does seem more motivated than ever now, so I'm happy for him. And I'm also glad to have someone who'll go to the gym with me:)
So today's agenda is writing all morning, gymming in the afternoon, and Emily's last trivia tonight.
Peace.
