Aug. 11th, 2008 06:50 amI guess my favorite musicians all think I need to save money or something, because it seems like 30 of them are coming to Charlottesville while I'll be in Oregon in October. Dangit.
This afternoon, Z and I are driving to Baltimore and playing in the Hunt Valley Regional. We have separate teams for the first two days, are scheduled to play with UK and Mullet on the weekend, and have nothing set in stone for Wed-Fri. I'm thinking of taking those days off to work and work out.
I've dropped a size and change over the last few weeks. Whenever that happens, I get really excited and pull out the clothes I haven't worn in forever. I don't know if you could say my junior year of high school jeans "fit," but I was able to get them all the way on. Heh. Still, I was a good 30 pounds lighter when I was 17 than I am now. I'm within a healthy BMI now, and what I was back then was too low, so I'll try to get over the fantasy of going all the way back down.
I'm a little nervous about the upcoming two weeks of bridge tournaments, though, because I never eat well when I'm on the road. I guess I'm just going to have to try harder.
Anyway, time to get up and get going.
Peace.
