Aug. 18th, 2008 03:38 pmMy iPod is dead, and I'm pretty sure it's gone for good this time. I wish I'd discovered this sooner than 10 minutes before I was about to go work out, because here's the thing. I cannot work out without music. And it has to be MY music. The background music in the gym just doesn't do it for me. I need to be able to plug the ear buds into my ears, crank up the Hanson, and rock the fuck out. Without that, I just can't force my body to do the things it doesn't want to do like run and jump and squat and curl and lift. I need music streaming directly into my ears from a piece of equipment that I paid far too much money to own and have wasted too many hours of my life trying to fiddle with the settings, or it's not a good workout.
So now I'm off to buy a cheap replacement for the iPod, and hopefully I can load music onto it directly from iTunes, because if I can't, it's going to be a long night. And I'm not going to bed without working out first. Dangit.
Peace.
