jianantonicThe last few days have been possibly the craziest of my life.
As I said earlier, the houses we wanted to buy were all sold before we acted on our desires...so Patti, our realtor (who rocks!), took us to see some others instead. This was Sunday. I found the house of my dreams. Unique architecture, big, hot tub included, yadda yadda...I would go on about the details but I won't until I'm sure it's mine. Anyway, it had only been on the market a little while but the owner was desperate to sell it so the price was way below its value...seriously, this house is twice as large and three times as nice as any of the others in the same price range. So I called my parents and told them I wanted to act fast. Well, there's another offer already on the table, but it's pending an inheritance, soooo I kind of maybe can get it, depending what happens there. I had my parents over last night, we ran around with a mortgage broker and Patti for hours trying to work things out, and I made an offer today. 153 g's, man. So...the sellers have until 10am Thursday to accept, reject, or counter my offer. I am SO NERVOUS. But I signed the contract today, so it's all in their hands now...everyone think happy thoughts for me! Gotta run. Peace.
