Note to Erin:  I WILL be in town for the Girlyman Gravity Lounge show.  I get home the day before, so I'll still be on Left Coast Time.  It'll be like a matinee:)

We arrive in Oregon in approximately 53 hours.  I can't flipping wait!

I bought 4 more books this morning, partly for the 6-hour drive home and partly for the plane, since there's a good chance I'll finish everything I had planned to read on that trip.  I got two more Augusten Burroughs books, an old Sedaris I haven't read yet, and the first Harry Potter, which I nearly finished on the ride home.  I read 40 more pages while running on the elliptical machine at the clubhouse gym, and I've got 40 to go, then I'll pick up Dry.  

My mom wants us to go over to her house tonight so she can give my husband a leftover turkey leg from the game yesterday.  She has weird ways of showing affection.

Tomorrow is a day for getting things in order before we leave for a month.  Seriously, SO EXCITED.

How do you read while you're on the treadmill? I bounce around enough I can't do it. On the bike I can, but not running. I wish I could, it might make things more interesting some days...

I can't do it on every machine. The elliptical in our clubhouse has a really low incline, so my steps are smooth and I don't bounce much. I definitely can't read on a treadmill, though.
