Woohoo, another post on the AOL Welcome Screen:)

I'm playing bridge today in Medford with Harvey.  Medford is about 90 miles away from Klamath Falls, where we are right now, so we're going to leave at 10am for the noon game.  When we're done, McKenzie is picking me up and we're hauling ass to Eugene (2-3 hours, I think?) to try to catch a Slaid Cleaves show with his folks.  Then we'll spend the night in Salem, Saturday with family, and back to KFalls for a Sunday afternoon unit championship game.  Anyway it's a busy day today, and I had to choose between working out and working.  I chose work, and here I am, working hard as usual...I should have accepted Harvey's offer for a bike ride.

So the drive from Salem to KFalls last night was pretty excruciating.  It's over 4 hours, and my seat in the van is just not that comfortable.  It's right over the wheel well, so there's no leg room (and I need a lot of leg room), and the seat doesn't recline at all, so it's really hard to get into a good sleeping position.  I have in the past been able to sleep, but it's never very comfortable, and I'm always so happy to reach our destination and get the heck out of there.  It's a cargo van, so there are no seats in the back for me to utilize, either.

I asked McKenzie if we could please, please, pretty please change out the seat for one that reclines, because we do so many multi-hour trips in this van, and I get really uncomfortable.  He suggested instead putting a hammock in the back.  On the one hand, that sounds ridiculous.  And dangerous.  But on the other hand, I want a hammock in our van.

Anyway, I've gotta get some work done.  I only have 90 minutes to do some "real" blogging, then it's off to play cards.

Peace.
