Sep. 22nd, 2008 07:23 pmI rode along on Z's FedEx route today. He had deliveries at Crater Lake, so we took a lunch break there and walked around the rim for a while in the middle of the day. It was lovely, and it's just a beautiful day. Of course, going out with him meant that I spent my day so far in a van and have not really done any work or exercising, except for the light walking we did at the lake. I am trying to stir up the motivation to go for a bike ride around Klamath Falls in the next few minutes. I suppose I'll be able to summon the energy, but it hasn't happened just yet.
Two things that suck: I finished rereading Chamber of Secrets today, but appear to have left Prisoner of Azkaban in Salem along with my DVDs. So I have nothing to read or watch now. Bah. There's always the internet, but that doesn't help me with the nearly 5-hour drive back to Salem on Wednesday. I'll have to go to a Fred Meyer and pick up some cheap DVDs or something. I do have a couple of books in the car, but none that I'm terribly in the mood for. I really just want to keep going with Harry Potter. I'd forgotten so many of the little details that it's almost as if I'm reading them for the first time. But I also pick up on more of the hints, and that makes me anxious to get on with the series to see where they all start falling into place. I remember the story, of course, but not the specifics.
In conclusion, Crater Lake is awesome.
Peace.
