Jan. 15th, 2004 09:03 amIt looks like Carol Moseley Braun is dropping out of the Democratic race and throwing support behind Dean. That's great news for what it is, but at the same time, I'm really hating this primary.
Everyone knows I support Howard Dean. On a few issues, I disagree with him, but on my most important stances, he is right up there with me. But I also really like Kerry, Clark, and most of the others, in fact. Seeing them rip each other to shreds during the primary race makes me sad, because I know that for many undecided Democrats, this intraparty fighting is going to turn them off to all 8 candidates. I wouldn't be surprised if Lieberman were to throw his support behind Bush once he drops out....
The important thing, folks, is that we all get out and vote for someone. Even if you vote for Bush, the larger the electorate, the more people the elected have to answer to. Remember that the voters give them their jobs, and in order to keep those jobs, they have to be loyal to their employers. So would you rather be an employer, or an enabler? Think about it. Peace.
