Oct. 18th, 2008 11:30 amIt turned into autumn here overnight. All of a sudden, the leaves are all orange and maroon (go Hokies!) and it's chilly outside. When we got home from Oregon, it still felt and looked like summer here.
Autumn is my favorite season. It's so pretty and the air is so crisp and everything smells so good. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, too, and that's my favorite holiday.
It looks like I'll get to stop in NYC for a few days on my way to the Boston NABC next month. Some clubs up there want Bridgemate demonstrations, and since we know the members there, the Bridgemate owners have agreed to send us. I hear the clubs up there are massive, so I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play there as well. Then Tammy and I are playing in some pretty serious NABC+ events in Boston, which should be a good learning experience for both of us, even though we probably won't score very well -- but you never know...
Z just got the Eee set up for the internet, so now I'm going to see if I can pry it away from him. I'll probably review it for PT soon.
Peace.
