Oct. 22nd, 2008 04:14 pmSo far today has not been nearly as dreadful as the past couple of days. I did have a serious case of writer's block this morning, but I managed to squeeze out a couple of paid blogs today. If you want to see what I mean about people on the internet (and, well, everywhere) being wacko, just read my latest on Gadling. The first comment is a gem.
I've been incredibly sore today, mostly in my arms, which are still smarting from the heavy weightlifting I did on Monday, but my legs were burning, too, which I assume is due to yesterday's attempt at becoming a jogger. Barely able to move, I knew I wasn't going to Gold's today, but I wasn't going to give myself a day off, either. I did a few arm things at the clubhouse and then mostly ab stuff, since that's the only part of me that's not sore yet, and then I don't know what possessed me to do this but I got back on the treadmill for another run. It wasn't as stellar as yesterday's, but it was good. 12 minutes of jogging, 3 minutes of walking, 5 more minutes of jogging, then a 5-minute cooldown walk. I'd like to be at the point within a month or two where I can go for 30 minutes straight without stopping to walk...but I'm going to be traveling a lot next month, so let's call this my pre-new year's resolution. 30 minutes of jogging without walking or dying by January 1.
I've been really bored lately. Z and I bought a bunch of DVD collections a few weeks ago, and I've already burned through all of them. The final season of Scrubs comes out in a few weeks, and I'm just dying to get my hands on that, but I'll have to pace myself, because when I'm done with those, there are no more to look forward to:( Actually there are only two shows that Z and I watch that haven't been canceled yet -- My Name is Earl and 30 Rock (which I just saw for the first time last week, and have since watched the entire first season). So here's hoping they stay good and both have very long TV runs.

Not much is going on around here, though. Funny how when I'm the most bored and boring, I always write longer LJ posts. Sorry about that. I guess I'll take off for now.
Peace.
