Feb. 25th, 2009 03:20 pmI'm with Helen and Sarah in Hood River today and tomorrow. The weather is crappy and rainy, but we aren't letting that stop us -- we've been on two hikes so far today in the Columbia Gorge and it is absolutely beautiful. In fact, it's so beautiful that if it were sunny and nice out, it might be too much to handle...
We're getting ready to go meandering around "downtown" Hood River for a little shopping and happy hour, and then pub quiz. Tomorrow we're going to drive into Portland together and do Portland things, with a stop at Multnomah Falls for a photo op on the way. Since it was rainy today, none of us took our cameras, so you'll just have to take my word for it that it was very lovely in spite of the weather and we are three very adorable ladies (myself thanks in part to a spectacular accessory handcrafted by the very talented
architheri!).
It's a good thing Z got work in Bend this week, because I hear there's a very good shoe sale going on...and they have Danskos:)
Peace.
