So, my uncle is an allstar and he was able to get the title search done in the wee hours of the morning, which means I was able to go to closing at 3:15 and I now OWN MY HOUSE!
I wrote a check for 114,000 today. Yeah man.
So come visit me there, go skiing, use my discount, play golf, use my discount, go hiking, it's free...RAH!

Peace.

heehee, just something deliberately inflammatory. I know your stance on the military, Meg, and I imagine most of your friends agree with you. This was on one of my friends' profiles today, and it's an interesting topic. It's totally fine if you don't let the post go up on your lj, just figured I'd propose the question.

"just me being over-analytical: would people be stronger emotionally/psychologically and give them more perspective on life if they went through compulsary military service? How would it affect people?"

I'd like to add, "what about compulsory community service? that's a bad term for it, though...I mean like what about the Peace Corps? Just somewhere where people had to see what was going on in the world around them."

I think the answer to question #1 is no. They'd be more brainwashed and less of themselves before. I could go on, but like you said, you know my stance.
