Let the good times roll
Mar. 15th, 2004 12:39 pmI finally got internet service at my house. That means I'll be spending the entire evening going through my yahoo accounts and the seven hundred or so emails that have piled up in them over the last month. I'll do homework in between emails, and therefore should have a very productive night.
My niece is due on Wednesday. If she's born this week, Adrian and I are going to ride up together to NYC Friday night for a 2.5 day weekend with our new family member. I'm so excited!
I paid my first mortgage payment today. I paid a whopping $100 over what I owed. If I can keep that up, I should be able to pay the whole thing off at least 1/3 quicker.
Lastly, I talked to the folks today. Dad's in a better mood about the car. It actually sounded like he was planning on buying it for me...but I don't want that. Crazy as I am with money, it's only because I want to do everything on my own. Well, me plus Jeremy. While it would be great for my parents to up and give me another 20 g's, I'd rather earn it on my own and be able to know that I am supporting myself entirely. (Again, with the help of Jeremy, but that's allowed because we support each other.)
Anyhow, it's a good week so far. It's only Monday, so things could change, but let's hope only for the better. Peace.
