Mar. 15th, 2004 07:23 pmHaving the internet at home is like a blessing from the gods of boredom. I was thinking today about Greek class in high school and how awesome that was. "Men, make sure to get all the blood off your cuirasses after the battle." Ha.
Somehow Buster (the guinea pig) has figured out how to impersonate a helicopter. I'm not sure how he's doing it but it's way cool and a little scary too. Yay Buster, he's the shit fantastic.
Jeremy came up to the wine tasting show with me today for the first time. It was great to finally introduce him to all the people I work with up there. He also bought me five of those little silk scarfy things that I've been wearing all the time lately. What a good boyfriend.
Massive progress on the car front. Basically, my parents called and said they'd found the car I want at a price they can live with. I replied, "You don't have to live with it. I'm paying for it." To which my mom says, "Oh." Haha. They were going to buy it for me. Well they did make an offer which I won't refuse. They are going to pay cash up front and let me pay them back as I can afford it. I wouldn't have gone along with it, but apparently my brother Adrian is doing the same thing and he's 33 and on his gozillionth car, so I figure I can do it when I'm 20. My dad also had no idea that I was planning on paying all my own insurance - car, health, etc. once I graduate. I was kind of like, duh, I'm getting married, you don't have to support me anymore, sorry, I won't be a dependent this year. They'll live.
Anyhow, my fake chicken is done, so it's time for me to go enjoy it. Peace.
