jianantonicYesterday was our graduation ceremony. I made it almost all the way through without tearing up, but at the very end, we walked through a really long column of professors who were there to congratulate us, and Dr. Josefson hugged me - totally did not expect that - and I just started welling up...then all the other history profs hugged me and I was like, gimme a break! I have to get my picture taken now and I look like I've just lost a puppy. Oh well...
My engagement party on Saturday was totally fun. My mom really busted her ass, as always, to make it spectacular. Lots of my cousins were there, as well as 3/4 of the bridesmaids and 1/2 of the groomsmen. Lucy was there, looking as cute as ever. She has really long hair now (for a two month old, anyway) and it stands straight up on her head. It's so funny:) I just love her dearly.
Nathan (Jer's brother) is staying with us now because he has an interview at Massanetta Springs for a camp job today. I really hope he decides to work there (I'm sure he'll be asked - he's always been totally involved in Massanetta goings on) because it's so close to us and we'd get to hang out a lot.
I feel like there was a bit more that I needed to say, seeing as how I haven't really updated recently...well...oh, my cousin Laura will be at Falcon Ridge:) Laura and I are really close, but unfortunately we hardly ever see each other, so I'm excited now:)
Oh, duh! I got my engagement ring! It's beautiful! I've got some pictures of it, but I'm a computer retard so I don't know how to post them...Jer will help me later I guess.
