This weekend I went to the family reunion with Jer. We camped there on Saturday night after watching Erika's film, "The Blue Piano," about my grandmother's old player piano. It was hard to watch because my grandma is in it. It was 1996 and she was just beginning to really decline. She had this look on her face in every shot as if she was so frustrated because she had so many things to say and had forgotten how to speak. It's really sad:( But it was a great film and I'm glad I've finally seen it.
Yesterday I spent a good deal of time in the creek, then afterwards spent time in Charlottesville with Lucy and company. She's such a fantastic baby:) I picked out the wedding invitations, so keep an eye out - they're coming soon. I'm not sure how soon, though, so don't freak if three weeks go by and you still don't have one. If it's September 6th and you haven't gotten one yet, you missed it.
Today I am going to work and then leaving this evening or tomorrow early for DC's Uncle Sam's Regional, immediately afterwhich I will board a train for NYC for a national, then come home and get in the car and go back to NY for FALCON RIDGE!!!! Then is Matt's wedding, my wedding, and time to relax. *Whew*
