I'm feeling better today. Got a lot of work done, ran some errands, and went for a run in the sleet. That wasn't fun, but I feel good about myself for doing it. I went to Dick's and bought some cold weather running gear, because I have none, and last time I ran outside in the cold, my legs broke out in hives from the chill. Yuck. I found some great UnderArmour stuff on clearance (okay, it's really ugly, but it's good gear), so hopefully my outdoor runs will be more comfortable now. If it's not too snowy, I think I'll hit the Rivanna Trail tomorrow and do four miles by the river.

It feels like I had a full day, but I don't have much to talk about really. I'm practicing on BBO with Chris now, and just lined up some side games with him in Portland for a couple of evenings there. So far this year, I'm enjoying the shit out of bridge. (Speaking of which, I squeezed an opponent in the Swiss on Sunday and he actually said "You squeezed the poop out of me!" So I told him he could go wipe before the next board. Poop is funny.) It's nice to enjoy bridge again. I'm going to monitor myself closely here to make sure I keep enjoying it, and pull back when I don't. Basically I'm monitoring all my emotions, but it's doubly important when I'm in the kinds of situations that have been problematic for me in the past. But right now, bridge is much less stressful than it's been in a long time (ever), and I'm playing better as a result (see above: squeeze).

Work is humming along. Could be better, but I'm keeping up pretty well. Haven't written much recently; hope to change that tomorrow.

So that's that. I'll probably have a lot to say after therapy tomorrow.
