jianantonicWell, this has just been a splendid morning. All the flights out of Cville are canceled today, so I'm not getting to SLC today. I asked about other airports, but customer service couldn't get anything for me for today. The best they could do was a 7am flight tomorrow out of Richmond. Which means I get to wake up at 4. Joy.
I told my parents about this, and before I even asked for a ride or anything, my dad started yelling at me about how selfish I am to expect them to be my personal taxi service. I just walked out and booked a rental car. Hopefully it won't be too much of a burden for them to take me the three miles to the rental car pickup tonight.
I'm more than a little irked about all the added cost and inconvenience, but I'll still get to SLC in time to play most of the tournament, so I guess it's okay. Can't say I'm excited about the extra day in Charlottesville, though. It is going to be another pj's all day kind of day, though, because everything else is packed and I don't feel like unpacking.
