School starts TODAY, my family starts coming in TOMORROW, private awesome candle class is FRIDAY - in the evening so those of you coming from school in the afternoon can still come - rehearsal and GIRLYMAN #1 is SATURDAY, and I change my last name on SUNDAY! Then I go back to school and work on Monday. Le sigh. But you know what? I'm getting married this weekend:) Kickass.
Do I have wedding jitters? No. I do have the wedding shits. I think that is more because of the drastic change in my diet and also stress from my mother...but that is why we have the nice TP.
TMI, right? It's my fucking journal, no one asked you to read it.
I am wearing my favorite outfit today, so if you see me at school, check me out. I am very hippiefied. That's the way it should be. I tested my bosses last week by wearing my thai-dyed dress one day and my hippie embroidered dress the next day - no one scolded me, so those two dresses are now officially in the rotation. Matt did laugh at me and call me a dirty hippie, but what's new? Besides, apart from the dirty part, that is what I'm going for.
About work. I'm not sure what I'm doing now. Things really aren't so bad right now. They're actually pretty good. We're having an "appreciation breakfast" tomorrow in honor of the store's kickass sales last week - which everyone knows were all mine so I'm happy about that. Janet also said I'm in for a big surprise, and then she winked and smiled, so I guess it can only be a good one, huh? So basically, I'm prolly not quitting yet. If I start to get unhappy again, I'll consider it a little harder, but for now, I'm content enough and I can't resist the paycheck (I'm about to get a big raise). Work is not without its frustrations, but I suppose I'll have those in any job - at least, any job in Harrisonburg where I'm constantly surrounded by Bible-beating Republicans. And I like my house enough to put up with that.
I just remembered I need to call my mother...sigh...well, off I go.
