I've had the same headache for like a week now.  It's not a bad one, it's just there, and I'd really like it not to be.  The big exciting thing that I was supposed to hear back about on Tuesday is still on hold...I'm still pretty sure it's going to happen, though, so I'm not too distressed.  Just anxious to confirm.  And then blab about it to you folks.

Z is heading up to Seattle for the weekend to direct, leaving sometime early this afternoon.  I have plans to hang out with his mom on Saturday.  Should be nice, will probably be a little weird, but we'll push past that.  My only other real plans for the weekend are to try to work and to do some soul searching about this apartment thing.  See if I can figure out what I want.  I have to compromise somewhere, because what I want does exist, it's just more money than I want to pay, so I have to prioritize and weigh my options from there.  And while this can be a frustrating process, it's also fun for me.  I can't explain how I can get so much enjoyment out of something that is also so soul sucking, but maybe that's what being a parent is like?  JUST KIDDING.  I did not just compare apartment hunting to parenting.  Though Z did say that he feels about his tournaments (the ones he directs) the way he imagines parents feel about their children.

Yeah, we're definitely not ever having kids.

big exciting thing

If "B.E.T." includes an income boost, that could make the apartment-rent budget a little larger too? Then you get a win-win, B.E.T. + new apartment! Good luck.
