Mar. 1st, 2011 09:33 amI feel like crap. I'm definitely some kind of sick, but I can't really describe it. It's not a cold and it's not flu-like. I'm just full of discomfort. I don't have an upset stomach but I do feel like I might puke. It's bizarre. I have a doctor's appointment in Charlottesville next week, so hopefully I can figure out wtf. I'm still getting pretty awful headaches. Not every day and not always the same intensity, but yesterday was definitely one of the worse ones. It would be awesome if I could be healthy.
I had a really hard time getting my work done yesterday, but I finally finished my monthly feature at 10pm. I'm glad I forced myself to finish it rather than put it off until this morning, because I'm no more in the mood to work right now than I was yesterday. But since I don't have end of month deadlines today, at least I'm less stressed about it.
I had a message on my phone from the leasing office at the place we like. Turns out one of their other renters fell through and the larger apartment that we had wanted is now available. So I think we'll go for that, but I should probably wait until Z wakes up to have a discussion with him about it. Heh.
I'm excited about going back to Virginia and seeing my family and my therapist and friends there. I just hope the travel day isn't too brutal. 7am departure, 10:30pm arrival. More than five hours of layovers -- two in SLC and three in ATL. PDX-SLC-ATL-CHO. At least I'm flying into CHO and not RIC or IAD. And three of those hours are time zones. So it shouldn't be too bad, as long as I'm not feeling completely sick.
