jianantonicI just finished making peanut butter cookies. I also made a royal mess in the process, but y'know what? They don't suck. They're good, actually. And I guess we have to eat four dozen cookies tonight, because I never bake and I don't have anything like a cookie tin in which to store baked goods. Or I could go to the store.
I'm loving the new place so much. We're still far from all the way settled, but the essentials are in place, and the kitchen is all clean and set up. We still have two chairs, a couple of lamps, the TV and TV stand, my bike, one bookshelf (the books are already here), and a few random things from our bathroom and kitchen to move over, but then we're done. My father-in-law is going to help us with all that tomorrow, and I'm really hoping that by the end of the day, the move will be complete, including set up in the new place. There are a few more things I can work on here tonight, but I'm pretty exhausted right now, so I don't know how much will get done. We'll see. I don't like that it's not done yet, but I'm not bothered enough to want to get off my ass any time soon. Hopefully I'll get a second wind in a little while. Maybe by now it's more like a third or fourth wind. It's been a long couple of days. And I've been up since before 5am. Whee.
