It is such a gorgeous day.  I've done a lot of walking already, and I want to do more, but I'm pretty tired.  We'll see...I need to go to the grocery store and the ATM.  I can probably manage that on foot.

Since I signed away 3.5 hours of this beautiful day to play bridge, it was nice to have such a good game with Chris.  We finished first with a 63%, despite more than my share of brain farts.  I'm pleading jet lag.  It was fun, though, and I wouldn't have done anything active if I'd stayed home anyway.

I'm trying to formulate a birthday plan.  I want to have a board game night sometime and invite people over...maybe a potluck?  Because my cooking skills aren't yet to the point where I can feed masses.  But I could make cookies or something and rely on all my awesomely talented friends to bring the noms.

 

Gail gets here tomorrow, which means I should add "clean the guest room" to my to-do list.  And probably find the sheets that go on that bed.  

 

I found an aquarium store in NE Portland (I'm in Beaverton, which is SW) that specializes in seahorses.  I'm going to have to go check it out sometime.  I was going to go today, but I'm having trouble summoning any energy.  Now the question is, do I want to walk to the store if it means walking back with a gallon of milk + other groceries?  Eh.  I'll take the car.  I've already walked like 4 miles today and the car needs to come out of hibernation anyway.
