jianantonicI'll expand on all this a little later, when I'm actually awake, but here's a drive-by recap:
Yesterday was my birthday, and it was truly awesome. I had a blast all day long.
And I got laid off from Aol completely. It's been happening little by little since the HuffPo merger, so this is really no surprise, but to have my contract terminated for good on my birthday? Really class act, Aol. Anyway, it kind of sucks, but I'm glad I'm done sitting around waiting for it to happen. Onward and upward.

I do appreciate all the sympathy, but it's not a terrible situation. I'll be fine.
For now I'm going back to sleep for as long as my body will allow. I had to wake up at 5 to take Gail to the airport, but I'm back home and in bed now, so I'm gonna try to doze.
