jianantonicI am busy. It's easy busy, but still time-consuming, so there's not a lot of time left over for all the stuff I want. I'm going to miss that...but I'll get used to it. I seriously don't even have enough time to spend all the money I'm making. I guess that's good.
I logged 73 hours of work last week. This week I think I'll get around 55. I worked from 5a-6p today. We tend to start crazy early because a lot of the people we have to register are graveyard shifters. Anyway, it's not bad.
The hardest part is not being able to get up and go to my fridge for a snack whenever I want, and also finding time to work out. Because when I'm at work all day, the first thing I need to do when I'm off is eat. Then I need to digest before I can work out -- even though I'm pretty much ready to fall asleep immediately. But so far I've been able to force myself to just do it. Speaking of just do it, I still need new shoes. I think my mother-in-law is going to pick up a new pair for me at the Nike store next week.
Had a really interesting chat about race with my coworker today. Maybe I'll write some of those reflections later. We also talked about the prejudices that accompany stature -- I hadn't ever really thought of it, but there were some great points. Anyway. Bed.
