Nov. 7th, 2011 08:10 pmI'm more or less adjusted to my own time zone now, though my alarm went off for five solid minutes before it woke me up this morning, and I was incredibly tired for the entire work day. I guess the fact that it's 8pm and I'm still awake means I haven't fully adjusted...but I'm getting there :)
Z left last night and will be traveling for bridge through the end of the nationals in early December, so we won't see each other for about a month. It also means I'm on my own with the car. I did pretty well on my first day of solo driving. I was crazy nervous when traffic was stop and go all the way to work this morning, but all my starts were pretty smooth. I'm probably jinxing myself now but I didn't stall out at all and I'm actually feeling pretty comfortable with it lately. It's not nearly to the point where it's second nature yet -- I still do a lot more thinking (and worrying) about driving than I do with an automatic transmission, but I'm really enjoying it, even with all the freaking out.
I leave for the Edhead cruise in ten days. That snuck right up on me. Awesome :)
